Twin Beats Privacy Policy

Twin Beats needs no account, and the developer does not collect your personal information.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

1. Summary

Twin Beats (“the app”) is an Android game made by independent developer lxon. The app has no sign-up of its own (leaderboards use your Google Play Games account, see section 6), and the developer runs no server that receives or stores information about you. To keep the app free, it shows Google AdMob ads, and Google processes the information described in sections 3 and 6.

2. Information stored only on your device

Game data such as best scores per mode, stages reached and settings (sound, vibration, volume, language) is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings. If Android backup is on, this data may be included in your own Google account backup.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses the Google AdMob SDK for a banner at the bottom of the screen, rewarded ads for continuing a run, and occasional interstitial ads. To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you consent, personalize ads, AdMob may collect and process:

In regions that require consent, such as the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form appears on first launch, and you can change your choice at any time under Privacy settings in the app's settings. In every region you can delete or reset your advertising ID under Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. For how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Platform

The app is distributed through Google Play, which may process installation and crash statistics under Google's policies. The app is built with the Unity engine, which may send technical diagnostic information about the device and the error to Unity Technologies when the app crashes. The developer does not use this information to identify you.

5. Permissions

The app does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.

6. Leaderboards (Google Play Games Services)

The app's per-mode leaderboards are provided by Google Play Games Services. If you are signed in to Play Games, the following is sent to Google at the end of each run:

Nicknames, avatars and scores on leaderboards are visible to other players, subject to the profile visibility settings in the Play Games app. Google processes and stores this information; the developer can only see what the leaderboards display. Scores that look abnormal may be excluded or removed from leaderboards. If you don't want to take part, sign out of Play Games; the game still works. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and data as described in the Google Play Games Help Center.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Retention and deletion

The developer stores no information about you directly. Leaderboard records can be managed or deleted as described in section 6; if you need help, email the address in section 10. Game data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. You can manage the information Google processes for ads in My Ad Center and your Google account settings.

9. Changes

This policy is updated when the app's features change; the “Last updated” date on this page changes with it.
